Perseus Industrial 315 is a scalable DIN rail LAN and LTE monitoring and control unit for industrial, infrastructure and environmental applications. It connects sensors, digital I/O, WLD cables and third‑party meters via LAN or Modbus/RTU.

It includes a built‑in LTE modem that works as an SMS gateway and backup communication channel. With Lua scripting, scheduler, and local conditions, it enables advanced automation and remote monitoring solutions.

Perseus Industrial 315 is a DIN rail device for environmental monitoring of an industrial environment. Up to 100 external meters (sensors) with 1000 values (variables) can be connected.

Within one DIN rail device there are useful 2 RJ11 ports for external 1W-UNI sensors, 5 DI ports (dry contacts), WLD-L: 1 zone for external Water Leak Detection at Location (WLD-L) sensing cable or 2 zones for external Water Leak Detection (WLD) sensing cable A/B, and 2 relay outputs. Perseus Industrial 315 can be powered from 12-30/48VDC or from PoE.

The combination of the RS-485 physical interface on the Perseus 315 and the Modbus/RTU Meters API allows data to be read from third party electricity meters, UPS or air conditioning products.

Perseus Industrial 315 has a WLD-L input and 2 relay outputs that can be controlled via the device’s interface or according to the value of a connected sensor or detector, for example to control air conditioning, ventilation or automatic doors.

Scalable RTU DIN-rail modularity

Perseus Industrial 315 starts with 5 Digital Inputs with S0 pulse counters and 2 DO (relay outputs). DIN rail RTU-Expanders can be added to scale the number of DI (dry contact digital input) and DO (relays standard digital output) according to the application in combination with the Perseus Industrial family units.

WLD-L: Water Leak Location

Perseus Industrial 315 includes a 4-pin WLD-L port for water leak detection. The port can be used in two modes:

• 1x WLD Type L location sensing cable zone
• 2x standard WLD Type A/B water leak detection cable zones

This allows the device to support both standard water leak detection and location-based leak detection in technical rooms, racks, warehouses and infrastructure sites.

Alerting options

Typical applications include remote infrastructure monitoring and alerting. From simple high temperature alerts to advanced alerts (2 out of 5 sensors exceeded limit or are inaccessible).

Mobile App can be used to display the status of all connected meters via LAN directly or via SensDesk.com Portal.

Internal LTE modem can be used to inform the Portal in case of power failure (email / SMS alerting from the Portal, including device and sensor invalid states), or to serve as the SMS/Call alerting gateway for all HWg devices in the local network.
